The Timetable-to-Teaching Framework
A five-step model for turning the school timetable into prepared classroom work.

The problem the framework addresses
The timetable is often treated as a calendar after setup. In practice, it is the most reliable structure of the teacher’s week and can carry class, subject, duration and sequence into planning.
The framework
- Select the scheduled class.
- Resolve curriculum position.
- Prepare and edit the lesson.
- Open the teaching guide during the session.
- Return evidence to the next plan.
How it applies inside Asmbly
Asmbly uses this model to make the first screen after onboarding the timetable rather than a blank dashboard. The product begins where the teacher’s week already has shape.
The boundary
Timetables change. Substitutions, school events and missed lessons require flexible rescheduling so the curriculum sequence does not become detached from reality.
