Why we built Asmbly

Teacher burnout, heavy expectations, and poor school outcomes. Those are the realities that drove us to build Asmbly.

We spent time in staff rooms listening to teachers. Every year, systems expect teachers to deliver higher results, track more data, and cover denser curriculums, but without giving them better tools. Teachers end up working late into their weekends just to keep up with paperwork.

When teachers are burned out, classrooms suffer and student outcomes fall. We built Asmbly to break that cycle by cutting repetitive admin, protecting teacher well-being, and helping schools give every student the support they need.

Simeon leads Asmbly and works closely on the product and the bigger vision behind it. His focus is on understanding what makes teachers' everyday work harder than it needs to be and building something that gives them more time for teaching, their learners, and life outside the classroom.
