A model for connecting timetable, curriculum, planning, classroom evidence, learner support and reporting.
The problem the framework addresses
Connected teaching begins from the idea that the teacher should not have to explain the same class to every tool. Context should travel with the work from the week into the lesson and back from classroom evidence into the next decision.
The framework
- Week: the timetable and teaching sequence.
- Intent: curriculum topic, competency and objective.
- Action: lesson phases, resources and activity.
- Evidence: attendance, work and assessment.
- Response: adaptation, support and reporting.
How it applies inside Asmbly
The framework is the product logic behind Asmbly Planner. Each layer should be useful by itself and more useful when connected, without requiring a school to digitise everything at once.
The boundary
Connection must not become surveillance. Access should be role-based, data collection should be minimal and the teacher should understand how information moves.
