A model for turning classroom evidence into a careful prompt for teacher attention.
The problem the framework addresses
A learner signal is a provisional indication that something may need attention. It is not a diagnosis, ranking or permanent label. The signal should show the evidence and remain open to the context the teacher knows.
The framework
- Trigger: the observable pattern.
- Evidence: records that support it.
- Context: attendance, lesson and class conditions.
- Teacher interpretation: what may explain it.
- Action and review: what is tried and what changes.

The boundary
False positives and missing data are unavoidable. Signals must be easy to dismiss, correct and revisit, with no hidden penalty attached to a learner.
