The problem the framework addresses
A platform can be technically complete and still fail inside normal school operations. Evidence before scale separates product functionality, adoption, implementation quality, workflow value and learner outcomes.
The framework
- Function: does the feature work?
- Use: do teachers return without prompting?
- Fit: does it match curriculum and school routine?
- Value: what work or decision improves?
- Outcome: what can be attributed with credible evaluation?
How it applies inside Asmbly
Asmbly should publish what was measured, how it was calculated and what remains unknown. Expansion should follow demonstrated implementation fit rather than the size of the vision alone.
The boundary
Small pilots are vulnerable to selection bias, incomplete data and vendor influence. Independent evaluation becomes more important as claims become larger.
